Field Capture photos

Take job-site photos on your phone and file them to a job.

Who can open it: owner, admin, manager, rep, estimator, production, office. In the menu it is called Field Capture.

Add photos

  1. Open Field Capture.
  2. Choose a job. Type in Search jobs, select Search, then pick the job.
  3. Under Add photos, take a photo or choose one from your library.
  4. Pick the stage (before, during, after, damage or other) and add a note if you like.
  5. Select Upload queued photos.

Each photo can be JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB. Notes can be up to 2,000 characters. The Job photos gallery shows what is filed. You can view a photo, download it, or archive it with the gallery's Archive button.

Take a job's photos with you

Once you have chosen a job, select Export photos and CSV to download that job's photos and their notes. The whole-workspace export also includes photos. See Questions people ask.

Limits

The free version allows 1 GiB of photo storage and 500 uploads a day. Only an owner can change the limits for the workspace.

A photo is filed to a job, and the job list comes from the Customers pages. A new workspace has no job to pick until you make one: add a lead, then turn it into a customer and project (see Customers and CRM). In a test workspace the new project appeared in this list straight away ("1 job found").
